Manager

Full-time, 35–40 hours/week | Wage dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced and organized manager to help run day-to-day bakery operations. You will oversee scheduling, inventory, customer relations, and staff coordination, and work closely with the owner to keep things running smoothly. Experience in food service management is essential. A passion for small-scale, community-rooted food business is a strong asset.

Drivers License required.


Baker

Full-time | Wage dependent on experience

We are looking for a baker with sourdough or artisan bread experience (or dedication to learn) to join our team! Early mornings are the norm.

You should be comfortable multitasking, working independently, following and adapting recipes, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. This is a very physical job! Must be able to comfortably lift 20kg and stand for prolonged periods of time.


Barista/

Front of House

Part-time & full-time | $18/hour + tips

We are looking for a warm, energetic person to be the face of New Grain. You will handle counter service, coffee, customer interactions, retail restock/orderliness, light food prep, cleaning duties. Barista experience is preferred. What matters most is that you genuinely enjoy people and take pride in the details!
